Guardian Nigeria, Lagos has already implemented these systems at several key

road congestion, which has been identified as a significant bottleneck in
Lagos' development. The Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, Engr.
Frederic Oladeinde, was quoted in The Punch newspaper saying, “We are committed
to ensuring that Lagosians experience a seamless journey through technological
innovation in road management.”
The Role of
Data in Transforming Traffic Management
These smart systems rely heavily on
data gathered from a variety of sources, including sensors embedded in roads,
